I am excited to let you know that the next Lessons in Leadership event is less than two weeks away – on Thursday, January 21, 2009 at the Diana Wortham Theatre in Asheville. Lessons in Leadership brings world-class leadership training and inspiration to Asheville citizens and organizations at cost – with all proceeds donated to charity.
The theme for the evening is “Leadership 2010: Accelerating Results in Uncertain Times.” If you are looking for an energizing way to kick off your New Year and to set yourself up for a year of big results, I highly encourage you to attend.
Networking begins at 5:30 pm and the program begins promptly at 6:30 pm.
The event will feature world-class leadership coach, Chip Madera whose client list includes 3M Worldwide, American Data Network, Coldwell Banker Realty, Comcast, Disney Vacation Club, GE Capital, J.C. Penney, Orlando Sentinel, PepsiCo, Quaker Oats, Sbarro and Verizon, to name just a few. Chip is a great presenter who will educate and entertain with practical leadership information that can be put to use in everyday situations. Chip’s program is titled:
“How to Take Your Life and Business Up a Notch”
Great leaders constantly look for strategies to help them thrive and succeed during challenging times. No matter what you do, or in what industry you work there are always opportunities to increase your business results and advance your leadership talent. Join award-winning speaker Chip Madera, MS, CSP as he shares How to Take Your Life and Business Up a Notch, the presentation he was asked to deliver at the 2008 World Management Conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Chip will help you explore the essentials for making your business soar in a fluttering market. From his heart warming stories, to his humorous down-to-earth style, you'll walk away from his speech with the tools you need to take your life and business to the next level in 2010.
Chip will be joined by Breakthrough Coach George Fleming whose Bigger Game workshop at Lessons in Leadership 2009 was a huge hit! George's casual presentation style, humor, rich content and practical tools will be the perfect start to what promises to be a superb event. George is a leadership coach, trainer and professional speaker who helps individuals and organizations experience profound breakthroughs with what matters most. He has coached hundreds of individuals and teams – including Volvo, RE/MAX International, Square D, CHRISTUS Health, Weichert Realty, Roche Pharmaceutical, Women’s Council of Realtors, and United Way - to develop inspired leaders, achieve transformational results, overcome challenging team and personal dynamics, and create passionate and inspired workplaces. George’s topic is titled:
“The Big ‘Why’ in Becoming World-Class”
When faced with challenging times, people often reduce their vision to dealing with the problems at hand. Yet great leaders know that it is during these times especially that we need a powerful vision – a big “Why” behind the “What” that we do. Studies in human performance show that our greatest results come about when we have a vision bigger than ourselves, when we are inspired, and when we’ve got a game-changing vision that has an impact on others. Come prepared to get fired up to launch your new decade by taking your vision to a world-class level while being inspired and entertained in George’s unique style.
I hope that you can attend this inspiring and special evening. And I ask that you please consider forwarding this email to your network and encourage your office to attend. Attached is a flyer about the event that you can put up in your workplace.
The cost of this remarkable event is just $25 (or $20 each for groups of 5 or more)!
