DYNAMIC GOVERNANCE in COMMUNITY $75
All day Training Sunday, August 15, 2010
9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Door opens at 9 and workshop starts promptly at 9:30)
Dynamic Governance (aka Sociocracy) is both an organizational structure and decision-making process that really works. Learn how your community, coop, business, department, school, church, HOA or other organization can flow with creativity - using "power with" tools that allow the group to be more flexible, efficient, inclusive, resilient, sustainable and to have more fun!
Learn how your group can work together with ease in negotiating needed on-going change including hot issues and tough decisions. It really can be a LOT easier to work together as a group or community!
If this is your first training in DG, please download the article, “The Creative Forces of Self Organization” http://j.mp/CF-SelfOrg from John’s website, GovernanceAlive.com. We are asking everyone to read or reread and review available materials prior to class. We also are asking participants to arrive by 9:15 AM as we will start promptly at 9:30.
“I am convinced that we would not have survived as a group those early days, had it not been for John and Dynamic Governance…. More than an improvement upon, or a step better than consensus, I think that Dynamic Governance is a quantum leap better.” — Larilee Sutter of the Champlain Valley Cohousing Community
