Our first tour will be: Sunday, July 12, 4:00-6:00pm

We will tour the land, current structures, educational facilities, gardens, dairy farm and future building sites for co-housing and cluster homes.

Also Sid Jordan, Executive Director of Prama Institute, will present the map of their existing facilities as well as their future plans. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers about their community and the experiences they had in its development.

More about the Prama Institute:
The Prama Institute is a conference and retreat center located on forested hilltops and grasslands surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains. It sits near the French Broad River, about 25 minutes outside Asheville, NC. Our scenic and peaceful surroundings create the perfect place for educational conferences, yoga retreats, workplace seminars, and other events.

Some of the many areas of training and direct experience are in yoga and meditation, communication skills, organic gardening, and green construction. Prama Institute is dedicated to creating a healthy society by supporting sustainable individual and social practices that promote the welfare of all beings.

We won't be having a potluck at this event so we recommend you bring your own snacks and water.

Car pool at 3:15 pm from Earthfare West parking lot closest the highway 240, near downtown Asheville.
